Hello, my name is Osama, I am a paediatrician based in Haifa. Regarding the Covid-19 outbreak in the world and in Palestine, our experience from previous medical and natural disasters is that the people who pay the highest price are marginalized impoverished groups. So it is imperative to think of Gaza, that is suffering under siege with a crippling health system. The Palestinian prisons which are crowded and lack medical care, the Palestinian refugees and Palestinians in the west bank under military occupation and divided by checkpoints with a crippled healthcare system. We should always remember the people that suffer the most in everyday life usually suffer the most in times of crises.
